Liberia is considered one of the poorest countries in the world. It has a high rate of infant mortality (67 babies die out of every 1,000 live births) and a life expectancy of just 59 years. This team will travel to the rural villages providing medical-dental and vision care to those who have little to no access to care. Patients will be diagnosed, educated, treated, and given the medicines needed. We will also provide washable sustainable feminine hygiene kits for young girls needing help with managing their menstrual cycle helping them remain in school. We will provide them with the opportunity to watch the “Jesus” film in their language at the end of the day, many hearing the gospel for the very first time.
Deadline for application and $1000 deposit: October 15, 2020.
