March 21-29— Honduras Vacation Bible School/Day Camp

Cost $1700. Application Required. Deadline: Call our office immediately.

Sign up now! This team will be serving at Pronino, a residential program for former street children in El’Progreso and in a local village. If you love to serve with children or you love sports, then we need you. We will be holding a day camp with Bible stories, crafts, and recreational activities with the children all while sharing the love of Jesus Christ ! Inner City Soccer Outreach Spring & Fall —Watch our newsletter for the dates!

Cost: Your time and energy. This team will we reaching out to the inner city of Richmond’s children through sports. If you are looking for a way to use your gifts and talents in the area of sports and recreation, join our recreational ministry department. May 2-9— Lima, Peru—Women’s Ministry Team

Cost-$2600. Application Required. Deadline: January 2 for application & $1000. deposit.

This team will serve the women living at the Women’s Shelter, many who have vast emotional and spiritual needs. Many of these women have been raped, abused, beaten, forced into prostitution, drugs and/or alcohol. They range in age from 11– 50. We will be teaching Bible Study, doing craft activities, and also doing some painting on the walls of the new home. We need those who like to paint and those who like to teach and reach out to women in need. You don’t want to miss out on seeing lives Restored! Click here for project application.

 

June 1st —Golfing for Hope Tournament—Richmond Country Club

Cost- $100. Registration Required 4 Person Captain’s Choice, 1:00 PM Shotgun Start

$ 100.00 per player, $ 400.00 per team   All proceeds will go to help us alleviate poverty and suffering through our relief and development projects.

Can you imagine living on less than $1.00 a day? Vessels of Mercy International reaches out around the world to men, women and children providing the basics of life and education. Through strategic tools such as vocational training, equipment, and agriculture projects, we help them reach their potential, alleviate poverty, and help them become self-sustaining. Summer Flip-Flop Drive - Join us in collecting new Flip-Flops to give to those in need. Each year we provide shoes to those living in extreme poverty. This is just one way we can decrease illness and injury. Deliver shoes to our office year round. Click here to give a financial gift.

 

July - Dates TBD Kenya Dental Team

Cost: $ 3700. Deadline: March 10 for application $1800. non refundable deposit.

Space is limited - sign up soon! This dental team will be working and serving the people in the Samburu Region of Kenya. We will be setting up dental clinics to attend to the physical needs and in the evening we will be showing the “Jesus” Film to meet their spiritual needs. This is a nation with extreme healthcare and spiritual needs. The people are tribal people and live in extreme poverty and have little to no access to dental care. Trained healthcare workers are needed as well as several general workers. Click here for project application.

 

August - Packing Hope - School Supply Drive for Schools & Orphanages

Help us enable children to go to school both here at home and around the world. We are collecting glue sticks, pencils, markers, construction paper, pens, rulers, colored pencils, pencil boxes, book bags, and children’s multivitamins. NO PAPER, CRAYONS or NOTEBOOKS PLEASE! All donations must be received by August 31st. Your cash donations are also welcomed.

 

September 6-14, Deborah House —Romania

Cost: $ 2800. - Deadline May 1 for application & non-refundable $1000. deposit.

This team will be holding Christian growth sessions and recreational activities in the afternoons for the young ladies living at Deborah House, the girls range in ages from 10-19. We need those that are able to teach Bible study sessions and or those equipped/trained in Christian Youth Camps and/or Recreational Activities. We may also be painting the walls of Deborah House in the mornings, so we also need those skilled and talented in painting. Come be Transformed along with the girls! October 31-November 7— Guatemala Vision Care Ministry Team

Cost $1800. Application Required  Deadline: June 25 for application and $1000. deposit

This team will serve in the rural village of San Jose’, Pinula where the residents of these areas live in extreme poverty. The vision care needs are great and many people cannot afford to have an eye exam or even begin to purchase glasses. For many, poor vision affects their livelihoods and for the children it affects their school work. We need lay people who are willing to go and serve as well as those trained in vision care. For the lay workers, we will provide all the training you will need to serve on this team. What joy it is to see someone put on glasses for the first time and get immediate results in their vision. October 31-November 7 — Guatemala Medical Ministry Team

Cost-$1800. Deadline: June 25 for application and $1000. deposit

This team will be traveling to San Jose’, Pinula a rural area of Guatemala to provide medical care for those living with very limited access to care. Daily we will set up a mobile medical clinic, providing care for hundreds of patients in need. We need trained healthcare workers and general helpers for this project. This is a great way to show the practical love of Jesus Christ to those who don’t know Him while using your skills and talents. Click here for project application.
