Our team spent a week in July helping a family whose home had been completely destroyed on the inside, and all personal possessions lost. Our home owner was so happy to have us there and gave thanks to God for sending us.

Anita the home owner is shown here with our team as she shows us her picture in one of the books now written about Katrina and the survivors. Our team hung the drywall and prepared the rooms to the final stage before priming and painting. Anita was so excited as she walked through the house and began to dream about the colors she would now get to pick out. She exclaimed, “I have hope again, thank you, thank you”.

It would not be possible for us to respond on a moments notice when a disaster strikes nor continue to stand with the survivors for this long if not for you. Thanks for making it possible, through your prayers and financial support to us we are able to show the world that He never leaves them or forsakes them. We are his living examples!
